Goals and future challenges

A priority for the social inclusion agenda, the Light for All Program is part of the Accelerated Growth Program (PAC 2). By June 2014, about 486,000 hookups were made and another 1.9 million Brazilians in the countryside were contemplated for future connection — agrarian reform settlers, indigenous communities, quilombolas and riverine populations. Of this total, 179,000 people are beneficiaries of the Brazil without Poverty program.
